Shrock Excavating knows that safety around such tasks calls for extreme care, precautions, training, and superlative skill. We comply with and exceed OSHA requirements and industry standards. Let us define our safety for you.
TRAINING
The Shrock Excavating crew members are certified as “Competent Persons” for trenching, exceeding OSHA requirements. They endure strict training to be ODOT certified. This training provides our customers with the peace of mind that our employees are professional, qualified laborers. We put our name on our work and stand by our certified workforce.
LEADERSHIP
With the same excavation supervisor for the last 20+ years, our team has a leader that has been through extensive training and has experience in both residential and commercial projects. He knows safety and takes the safety of his workers seriously.
Our company also employs a Safety Leader who oversees and enforces the safety of our employees and clients. She attends industry safety training and is a member of the Safety Congress where she is continually learning and extending that knowledge to our team. She facilitates frequent safety talks, and team meetings before beginning a new project.
EQUIPMENT
Our personnel are provided with and required to protect themselves with PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). These items include hard hats, steel-toe boots, harnesses, highly visible clothing, and safety glasses. Depending on the job, they may have additional safety equipment provided such as air quality monitors.
Shrock Excavating considers safety their utmost concern. From team safety meetings, annual safety meetings, PPE equipment, certification, and more, our goal is to ensure the safety of our team and our clients. If you have any questions about our safety protocols, contact us today.
