Excavating Safety: Best Practices And Standards Followed By Shrock Excavating

Moving earth, digging near utilities, and operating heavy machinery is not a task for the inexperienced.  Shrock Excavating knows that safety around such tasks calls for extreme care, precautions, training, and superlative skill.  We comply with OSHA requirements and industry standards.  Let us define our safety for you.

CERTIFIED

Our employees endure strict training to be ODOT certified.  This training provides our customers with the peace of mind that our employees are professional, qualified laborers.  We put our name on our work and stand by our certified workforce.

LEADERSHIP

With the same excavation supervisor for the last 20+ years, our team has a leader that has been through extensive training and has experience in both residential and commercial projects.  He knows safety and takes the safety of his workers seriously.

Our company also employs a Safety Leader who attends industry safety training and brings her knowledge back to our team.  She facilitates frequent safety talks, and team meetings before beginning a new project.

EQUIPMENT

Our personnel are provided with and required to protect themselves with PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).  These items include hardhats, steel toe boots, harnesses, highly visible clothing, and safety glasses.   Depending on the job, they may have additional safety equipment provided.

Shrock Excavating considers safety their utmost concern.  From team safety meetings, annual safety meetings, PPE equipment, certification, and more, our goal is to ensure the safety of our team and our clients.  If you have any questions about our safety protocols, contact us today.
